At Little Thistle, we want our taproom to be a warm and inviting space where you can relax over a pint of beer with friends, families and neighbors. Think of it as an extension of our living room — an unassuming and comfortable environment where you can feel at home away from home.

Little Thistle Brewing Company was formerly a truck loading dock – multiple garage doors that open in the summertime were a no brainer! Our nearly 2-acre lot is situated at the end of 14th Street NW – to the west of the Valley High Drive Post Office and directly east of the Cascade Trail/Douglas Trail. We’re an outdoor and biking destination with our easy access off the trail and our large, inviting beer garden.

We ain’t fancy. Stop in anytime and you’ll find neighborhood folks catching up, someone who just finished work, someone who just rolled in off the Douglas Trail after a long bike ride, a mom and dad trying to catch up over a pint while they entertain their toddler, some gamers playing video games in the game room, and some rugby or soccer fans watching a game.

Family Friendly:
With two kids ourselves, we know the importance of having things for the whole family to do. That is why we are devoting space for indoor activities such as arcade games and shuffleboard. Stay tuned for family-friendly events and activities postings.

Dog Friendly:
Your dog is part of the family. We get that. You want to socialize, but you don’t want to leave your furry family at home. Your well-behaved, sociable pup is welcome in our beer garden and on our patio.
Bike Friendly:
Right off the Cascade/Douglas Trail with plenty of bike parking and a bike station to keep you rolling. Take a break on the patio with a cold beer.
Game Room:
We have shuffleboard and a variety of video games. Hang out in our game room with your friends. Just remember, your mom won’t be there to bring you snacks.

We have a 600-square-foot meeting space available for reservation and rental. Want to rent the whole place? We do that, too. Our 2,500-square-foot tap room can accommodate 120 people for your special event - even more with access to our patio and beer garden.

We love food, but we also love so many of our local restaurants and food vendors and want to support them. We welcome you to bring food from home, takeout, or check our Facebook or Instagram page for upcoming eats at our taproom.

We are dedicated to supporting our local community through charitable donations to local and neighborhood non-profit organizations. Contact us through our donations link and let us know your donation need and please allow us at least 30 days to accommodate your donation request. We do not donate beer.

In addition to giving direct donations, we can also offer meeting space for local non-profit and community groups. We have a semi-private meeting space that accommodates up to 40 people. If you have a need for space and the space is available, we can offer you this space free of charge.
